I did my undergraduate studies at Stellenbosch University where I met my wife, Colleen,
and we finished our final year of medical studies together.

Parallel to my medical career I had an international sporting career where I represented South Africa for 12 seasons on the International Slalom Canoe/Kayak Circuit. I retired from competitive paddling after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. I am still very active in a range of sports such as SUP, Surfski, Mountain Biking and Trail Running, albeit not at an Olympic level.[/tw_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][tw_images_carousel items=”1″ margin=”0″ dots=”” images=”293,294″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner equal_height=”” css=”.vc_custom_1556884492377{margin-top: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_inner][tw_text font_size=”uk-text-large” custom_class=”about-text”]I have a great passion for entrepreneurship and sports development and over the years I have been involved with various start-ups in Renewable Energies, Sport, Medical and Educational spaces. We have 3 lovely children. As a family we love the outdoors, spending time with friends, being active in our local church and enjoying life.

The meaning of my name, Cameron, means “crooked nose” in Gaelic. Perhaps it is fate that I set myself the goal of becoming a world-class rhinoplasty surgeon, to be able to straighten crooked noses. I want to be brilliant in not only making your nose work well, but also look perfect for your unique face.

The lovely thing about ENT is that we train in both the function as well as the aesthetics of what a beautiful nose should look like. The two main areas that I have focused a lot of my energy on have been my international paddling career and my medical career. In Rhinoplasty these two have come together unexpectedly. Once I was accepted to specialize in ENT I could direct all my research on the nose. At the University of the Free State I dissected 90 cadaver noses to carefully study the anatomy of the alar cartilage. It was the biggest study of its kind for more than 30 years in the world and the first time anybody had done something like this on African noses. I presented my findings at 5 different locations both nationally and internationally.[/tw_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner equal_height=”” custom_id=”team”][vc_column_inner][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1583922602940{padding-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_column][tw_heading heading_tag=”h2″ title_animate=”” title=”OUR TEAM” subtitle=”” title_align=”uk-text-left” max_width=”title_full” custom_class=”about” google_fonts=”font_family:Muli%3A300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” custom_font=”yes” font_size=”29″][/tw_heading][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][tw_image image=”326″][tw_heading title_animate=”” title=”” subtitle=””]
